The public association CCF Moldova – Child, Community, Family and Romania’s Social Alternative Association rolled out the project “Together for Children”. The major goal of the project is to contribute to a more efficient child protection system in the Moldovan districts of Cantemir and Leova and the Romanian county of Iasi by promoting the interaction of networks of professionals in the field,
Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a commuqniue from the CCF.
Joint groups of experts will be created within the project. There will be held conferences, training courses and other events that will involve more than 200 specialists. About 80 professionals will pay fact-finding visits to Moldova and Romania.
Among other activities is an international conference that will bring together 60 persons from the areas where the project is implemented and from other regions. A model of partnership between the professionals working in the mentioned regions will be established at the end of the project. Within this partnership, there will be identified and shared solutions to common problems. There will be produced a crossborder guide of good practices that will be issued in 300 copies.
The final beneficiaries of the project will include thousands of children and families from the areas covered by the project. They will enjoy enhanced protection services following the development of the abilities and attitudes of the professionals working in the social sector.
The project forms part of the Joint Operational Program Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova 2007-2013 that is financed by the European Union through the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument and co-financed by the countries participating in the program. The project is worth €166 210.
