The extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of "Moldovagaz" JSC has elected today, September 20, the new composition of the Board of Observers. These are Elena Burmistrova, Serghei Kuzneț, Victor Valov, Ghenadie Abașchin, Adrian Lupușor and Călin Negură, IPN reports.
According to a Moldovagaz press release, during the first meeting of the Board of Observers, Elena Burmistrova has been elected as chairperson, and Adrian Lupușor – as deputy chairman.
The new composition of the Board of Observers gave assurances that they would support the Moldovagaz mission to ensure the reliable supply of consumers of the Republic of Moldova with natural gas, as well as the transit of natural gas through the territory of the country in full volume.
The Board of Observers "will endeavour to improve the financial indicators, create the mechanism for efficient management of assets, regulate the credit debts, as well as solve other problems in the natural gas sector".
The extraordinary general meeting was attended by 41 Moldovagaz shareholders, who own over 13,184 million shares, which constitutes 98.93% of the total number of voting shares.
