The president of the Administration Board of SA Moldovagaz” Vadim Ceban will pay a working visit to Russia to meet with the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller during the next few days. The announcement was made by Vadim Ceban himself in a program on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
“If not this week, we will meet next week. I am permanently making effort to restore the full supplies to the Republic of Moldova,” stated Vadim Ceban.
According to him, in the meeting he will raise the given issue so that the Republic of Moldova is supplied with the amount of gas stipulated in the contract signed in the autumn of 2021, radiomoldova.md wrote.
Following the signing of a contract with MGRES, the right side of the Nistru purchases electricity from the Kuchurgan power plant at the price of US$ 73 per MW. Instead, Moldovagaz directs to the Transnistrian region the whole amount of gas supplied by Gazprom to Moldova – 5.7 million cubic meters of gas a day.
