The natural gas supplied to end-users are of the highest quality, representatives of the administration Moldovagaz said in a news conference following complaints from consumers, IPN reports.
The quality of the natural gas is measured with modern equipment once in four minutes, while the results are integrated, said vice president of the Administration Board Iacob Cazacu. The border gas metering stations determine continuously the volume, composition, density, humidity and heat of the natural gas.
Four private laboratories were set up in order to ensure the impartial assessment of the quality of gas. A number of economic entities, including the thermoelectric plant CET-2, have their own laboratories for determining the quality of gas. “The end-users invoke the poor quality of gas when they consumer more gas than usual and when the stoves or heaters malfunction,” stated Iacob Cazacu.
Eduard Ionco, vice president of Chisinau-Gaz, said that when the consumers are dissatisfied, they can ask doing quality tests. If their assertions turn out to be true, the costs of 6,000 lei are covered by the company. If not, they are covered by the complainer.
