Moldova women's handball team goes to Estonia to fight for Challenge Cup

The Moldovan women's handball national team is back on the international arena after a break of several years, looking forward to participating in the international Challenge Cup, to take place in Estonia, Info-Prim Neo reports. Due to scarce financing, the national team, consisting of 16 players, went to Estonia by bus. However this hasn't spoiled the girls' spirits, as the coaching staff hope they will achieve a good result. Earlier Moldova participated twice in this competition, in 2002 and 2004, but the results were modest. This year Moldova will encounter Finland, the Feroe Islands and Estonia. The winner of the qualification group will encounter Israel in the final.
