Moldovan athletes Denis Tachii and Viorica Prisacaru won bronze medals at the category-A international sambo tournament that was held in Minsk, Belarus, on February 9-12. Moldova was represented by nine athletes, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Denis Tachii won bronze in the +100 kg class, while Viorica Prisacaru medaled bronze in the 68 kg class.
The tournament involved sportspersons from 18 countries.
