Moldova willing to host Sports Games of CIS

The Summit of heads of government of CIS member countries, will examine the proposal of Moldova to host the 7th Sports Games of CIS in 2008. Moldovan PM Vasile Tarlev will participate in the summit which will take place in Yalta (Ukraine) on May 5. According to the summit agenda, the heads of government will examine the draft Agreement on the creation of the joint power and energy market of CIS, the Agreement on the collaboration in countering the circulation of counterfeited medical products and other documents. During the visit of the PM to Yalta there are planned bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The last summit of the CIS heads of government took place on 28 November 2006.
