Moldova's national football team will meet Norway on Wednesday, January 15, in the team's first friendly during the training camp in UAE. The Scandinavians will field only players from the country's domestic league, IPN reports.

The same goes for Sweden, who will play Moldova on January 17. The Tricolors will also play Poland, on January 20, who called only one player plying his trade abroad.

However, Moldovan coach Ion Caras called 9 players from abroad, including 8 from the Russian league. One of them is the best Moldovan player of 2013- FC Rostov's Alexandru Gatcan. “We want to get good results in these matches and I think we can do it”, Gatcan said before the team's departure to Abu Dhabi.

“We'll face strong opponents, but I hope our boys will manage to obtain some wins”, said coach Ion Caras.

Moldova will miss four players during the UAE training camp: Alexandru Epureanu, Igor Armas, Artur Ionita and Semion Bulgaru.
