The Republic of Moldova will be provided with COVID-19 vaccines as swiftly as possible, Ala Nemerenco, the President’s adviser on health, posted on her Facebook page, being quoted by IPN.
“Given the serious pandemic situation, we are at the stage of initiating the provision of the Republic of Moldova with COVID-19 vaccines as a matter of urgency. The frontline healthcare workers will be vaccinated the first, followed by other risk categories. Details will be given the next few days,” stated Ala Nemerenco.
Recently, the deputy head of the Chisinau Health Division Boris Gîlca wrote on Facebook that Moldova will get the first COVID-19 vaccines within three months and an accessible national vaccination program could start next autumn. The COVID-19 vaccines will be free for everyone, but several efficient strategic instruments should be devised for the vaccination process.
