The Brussels Council of Bureaux at the beginning of March will take a decision as to Moldova’s suspension from the Green Card System. The Council is now strictly monitoring the National Bureau of Motor Insurers of Moldova, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the National Bureau, the Council of Bureaux has recently assessed the actions taken by the Bueau and the Moldovan authorities to avoid the suspension from this system starting with April 1, 2016. In a meeting of representatives of the two sides, there were presented and analyzed the measures taken to remedy the situation.
The decision to suspend the National Bureau of Motor Insurers of Moldova from October 1, 2015 was taken in the General Assembly of the Council of Bureaux of last May. Afterward, following the measures taken by the National Bureau and the Moldovan authorities, the Council of Bureaux postponed the coming into force of the decision until April 1, 2016. Also then, it was decided to monitor the National Bureau for a period so as to see how it implements the action plan agreed with the Moldovan authorities.
