Representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Service, who are involved in the process of adjusting the national normative framework, will learn from Romania’s experience in transposing the EU legislation on VAT, IPN reports.
During three weeks, Adriana Nuțu, senior adviser at the Fiscal Legislation and Customs and Accounting Regulations Division of the Ministry of Public Finance of Romania, will share expertise about the stages of transposing the EU legislation and will have a series of discussions with functionaries.
“This expertise is important for us, including for having a general picture of all the national transposition measures that we need to take with regard to VAT, and not only those related to the legislation, but also measures to inform the public about what will change on this dimension,” said the Minister of Finance of Moldova Veronica Sirețeanu.
The activity forms part of the plan of cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Finance of Romania, which is part of the cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
