The tenth Word Games will take place in Poland’s Wroclaw during July 20-30, 2017. Moldova will be represented by two kickboxers and two dance sport couples, IPN reports.
Dancers Gabriele Goffredo and Anna Matus, who won gold at the World Games 2013 held in Cali, Columbia, will compete in Latin, while Dumitru Cusnir and Victoria Kolesnichenko in Sandard.
In kickboxing, Moldova will be represented by Adrian Gologan (86 kg class) and Pavel Voronin (91 kg).
The Moldovan delegation will be headed by the president of the Moldova Dance Sport Federation Petru Gozun.
The World Games bring together about 4,000 athletes who compete in 37 sports, including Olympic sports and non-Olympic sports such as bowling, wakeboard, escalade, billiard, sumo, kickboxing and dance sport.
