The Republic of Moldova should be more open to communication with the foreign partners so as to establish healthy relations in different areas, said MP of the Bloc ACUM Vladimir Bolea, referring to the visits pad by the representative of the Russian Federation and the European Parliament’s delegation to Chisinau. According to him, Moldova earlier experienced international isolation, IPN reports.

“The Republic of Moldova had been fully isolated at international level for many years, and I do not speak only about the deterioration of the relations with the Russian Federation, but also about the defective communication with the European countries. I want the Republic of Moldova to be full of people from the highest forums visiting us to restore the economic, political and cultural relations,” the MP stated in the talk show “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel.

Socialist MP Grigore Novac said the visit made by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak to Chisinau was related exclusively to the bilateral relations of Moldova and Russia. Earlier, the heads of the two states agreed that five categories of Moldovan goods will be exported duty-free to Russia until July 1. “In the recent meeting, President Igor Dodon asked that this period should be extended up to this yearend,” he stated.

Editorialist Nicolae Negru said the Republic of Moldova should export goods to Russia too, but there should be particular dignity because the decline in exports to the Russian market was due not to irregularities, but to the fact that it refused the Kozak country federalization memorandum and because it signed the Association Agreement with the EU. “Russia uses this economic instrument for political and geopolitical purposes,” noted the journalist.
