The Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation in March will sign a privileged agreement on the protection of migrants, Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said in a summing-up news conference, quoted by IPN.
According to official data of the Labor Ministry, about 200,000 Moldovans work legally in Russia.
Valentina Buliga said that Moldova signed such agreements with Poland, Hungary and another eight countries. Similar social protection agreements are being negotiated with Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
