The friendly match between Moldova and Russia that was initially scheduled for March 31, but was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic will be ultimately played at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau on November 12 this year. Such an agreement was reached by the Football Federations of the two countries, IPN reports.
Depending on the epidemiological developments in Moldova, it will be decided if the match will take place in the presence of spectators or without them.
On October 7, the national football team of Moldova plays another friendly against Italy, in Parma. In November, Moldova will play two more official games, within the UEFA Nations League tournament: against Greece in Chisinau on November 15 and against Kosovo away on November 18.
