The Moldovan Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice of Romania today signed a bilateral cooperation agreement. It comes with a 2016-2018 Action Plan that aims to boost cooperation between the ministries and their subordinated agencies.
“As suggested by the Romanian Minister of Justice, at a forum this autumn we are planning to extend this list to also cover institutions that are in one way or another related to justice. This way, we hope this action plan will become a plan for the entire justice sector”, stated Moldovan Minister Vladimir Cebotari.
“We want this action plan to live not just on paper, but to concretize into an effective platform of staff-level cooperation. I am delighted to see another stone being put at the solid foundation of cooperation in the justice sector between our countries”, stated Romanian Minister Raluca Alexandra Prună.
Commenting on the activities contained in the agreement, Vladimir Cebotari said it includes in particular training and consultative assistance on how develop relevant policy documents.
