The State Archive Service of Moldova and the Ministry of the Interior of Romania, through the National Archives, will sign an agreement of cooperation in the field of archives. The draft agreement was approved by the Government of Moldova, IPN reports.
The agreement will create the legal basis for initiating activities to examine the archive documents managed by the given services and for using collections of documents in the scientific community. Possibilities will be offered for improving the professional skills of archivists by participation in different conferences, exhibitions and workshops and by learning from the document restoration experience and the experience of using digitization technology for scanning registers and archive documents.
The agreement is to be signed in Romania’s Iasi in the first quarter of this year.
