Moldova and Romania are taking customs measures to make transfrontier traffic flow move faster. Thus, during the Easter holidays, the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova and the General Customs Directorate of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration of Romania will increase the number of customs officers on duty, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Customs Service, there will be used all the check lines so as to fluidize transfrontier traffic that is usually heavier in this period of the year.

The two customs bodies will continue to cooperate so as to implement the bilateral cooperation plan in the area of customs and to achieve the joint strategic objectives concerning customs cooperation.

Those who intend to cross the border can obtain information about the work of customs posts at the Customs Service’s Common Call Center (+373 22 574-111).
