All the three Moldovan teams were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League in the first qualifying round, IPN reports.
After drawing 1-1 the first leg, Petrocub Hincesti lost away to Osijek of Croatia 1-2. Vladimir Ambros scored the only goal for the guests in the 22nd minute, from a penalty kick. Towards the end of the game, Maxim Cojocaru missed a good chance of tying.
In Chisinau, Zaria Balti was close to taking the match with Gornik to overtime, but got a goal in the 85th minute and the game was tied 1-1. The Polish team won the first leg 1-0.
Finally, Milsami was demolished by Slovan Bratislava away 0-5. In the first leg played in Orhei, Milsami was beaten 2-4.
