Moldova records seventh pandemic flu death

A 31-year-old woman died from pandemic influenza in the Falesti District Hospital, taking the death toll from this disease to seven, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, the woman was admitted to the Falesti District Hospital on November 11. She was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. On November 13, at 0.15, the woman died. The presence of the A (H1N1) virus was confirmed on November 14 in the morning.
Three women and four men have died from pandemic flu so far. Two women died on November 13 – one in the Falesti District Hospital, while the second, aged 46, in the National Hospital, two hours after hospitalized.
As many as 1,576 suspect cases of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) have been recorded in Moldova by November 14. The virus was detected in 700 cases.
