The national Under-20 basketball team of Moldova suffered a new defeat in the last match of Group D of the FIBA U20 European Championship Division B that was held in Romania’s Oradea, IPN reports.
Moldova was demolished by Croatia 47-150 (20-33, 4-52, 11-44, 12-21). Victor Legoshin scored 12 points, Alexei Ponomariov -11, Pavel Romanov - 9, Pyotr Romanov - 6, Yevgheny Molchanovski - 3, Artiom Grishchenko - 2, Vladimir Miscov – 2, and Gheorghi Rebeja -2.
Earlier, Moldova was beaten by Portugal, Hungary, Kosovo, and Ireland. Moldova is to play a consolation match against Malta, which ranked last in Group C.
