Moldova has won a gold medal, two silvers and four bronzes at the World Cadets Sambo Championships that took place in Serbia, IPN reports.
Oxana Diachenko became world champion in the +70 kg weight class. In the final, she beat Valeria Khrushchova of Belarus. Silver was won by Sorin Patron (55 kg) and Ihtiandru Fedco (84 kg), while bronze medals were brought by Victoria Tronciu (44 kg), Vasilii Kiriakov (46 kg), Mihail Latyshev (60 kg) and Artiom Gribinenko (66 kg).
In the medal table, Moldova took the fourth position after Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.
