Moldova ranks 80th by quality of life

Moldova takes the 80th position in the Quality of Life Index complied by the journal International Living, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the journal’s official website, Moldova scored 59 points of 100 possible. Moldova got only 24 points for infrastructure, 43 points for the environment, and 58 points for the level of freedom.
Guatemala, Cuba, Belize, Lesotho, Grenada and Malaysia have the same score as Moldova.
The United States of America tops the rankings by all the nine indices assessed, with an average score of 86 points. It is followed by New Zealand, Malta, France, Monaco, Belgium, and Germany.
Romania ranks 48th of 191 countries, while Russia – 118th. Russia scored most of the points for freedom – 25.
