Moldova place 86 in FIFA rankings

Moldova’s national football team gained a position in the world rankings, published on Wednesday, April 13, by FIFA, Info-Prim Neo reports.
With 394 points, Moldova is ranked 86th, according to FIFA’s official website. Last month, the Tricolors played only one game in the Euro 2012 qualifiers, which they lost to Sweden 2-1.
Netherlands are the highest ranked from Moldova’s group. The Dutch sit second in the table, while Sweden rose one place to 29th, Hungary dropped 16 and sit 52, Finland are 81st, while San Marino are at the bottom- 203rd.
Israel and Belgium are the most improved nations with 25 gained positions each, while Northern Ireland did the opposite, losing 25 places.
European and World Champions Spain top the table, followed by Netherlands and Brazil.
