Moldova may launch DCFTA negotiations in three months

In three months the Republic of Moldova may initiate formal negotiations on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), according to a resolution adopted at the recent Eastern Partnership Summit in Warsaw, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The resolution says that our country has significantly advanced in the negotiations on visa liberalization and that Moldova alongside Ukraine can serve as a model for other countries in this respect, it was said in a press release from the Moldovan Government.
The EU welcomed the efforts made by Moldova and other Eastern Partnership countries on the path of European integration and reconfirmed its intention to further provide macro-financial assistance to Moldova. Also, the EU encouraged the continuation of reforms by Moldova to further advance the relationship with the EU.
The Eastern Partnership Summit took place during September 29-30 in Warsaw.
