The national futsal team of Moldova scored a 4-1 victory against Israel in the first match of the UEFA Futsal Euro 2022 qualifying rounds, IPN reports.
The goals for Moldova were scored by Sergiu Tacot (9th min.), Sergiu Munteanu (11th) and Sergiu Nicolaiciuc (25th, 36th). Tamir Shkolnik scored the goal of honor for Israel towards the end of the game.
Moldova manager Vladimir Vusatyi could not use the services of Constantin Burdujel, who was suspended. “I’m satisfied with the result and the game of my team,” he stated in a news conference.
Moldova plays the next match that is decisive for the qualification for the next stage on February 1, starting at 8pm. It meets England at the Futsal Arena FMF in Ciorescu.
