Moldova loses match against Uganda

The national football team of Moldova started insipidly the competition this year. Moldova was beaten by Uganda 2-3, IPN reports.

Moldova was leading by 2-0 after the goals scored by Dmitri Mandrynchenko (min 10) and Mihai Platica (14). The team from Eastern Africa reduced the difference before the break. Patrick Kaddu scored from a penalty. In the second half, Karisa and the same Kaddu scored against Moldova, bringing the victory to their team.

“We resisted only one half as our players had been on vacation, while the team of Uganda has been training,” said Sergiu Kleshchenko, who made his debut as the coach of Moldova.

On January 21, Moldova plays the second friendly in Turkey. Moldova meets South Korea, which competed in the last nine editions of the World Cup.
