The national youth team of Moldova was beaten 0-2 by the similar team of Hungary in a friendly match played in Budapest. Vicu Bulmaga hit the crossbar in the first half. After the break, Zalan Kerezsi opened the scoring following a corner. Vlad Lupascu missed a great chance to equalize in the 75th minute, and the final score was set in the 90+2 minute by Gabor Jurek, IPN reports.

Coach Ștefan Stoica used the following players: Dodon (Dumenco 46), Cucoș, Saca (Iovu 46), Calestru (Covali 46), Borș (Dumbrava 75), Botnari (Răileanu 46), Lisu (Dolghi 46), Chele (Păscăluță 46), Moţoc, Lupan (Lupașco 46), Bulmaga (Gău 46).

On March 25, Moldova meets the Netherlands in Chisinau for a match of the 2025 UEFA European Championship qualifying competition.
