The national football team of Moldova drew 1-1 with Albania’s team in the last but one match of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament. Sokol Cikalleshi opened the score in the 25th minute after transforming a penalty kick, while Vladislav Baboglo tied in the 87th minute, IPN reports.
Moldova gained 10 points and in case of a victory in the match that will be played away against the Czech Republic, they will manage for the first time to qualify for the European Football Championship that will be hosted by Germany. The encounter in Olomouc will take place on November 20, starting at 9:45 p.m.
In the match against Albania, Moldova manager Sergiu Kleshchenko used the following players: Railean, Ryabchuk, Baboglo, Posmac, Moțpan (Damașcan 69), Nicolaescu (Stînă 76), Kaymakov (Cojocari 76), Crăciun, Postolachi, Revenco (Cojocaru 46), Rață.
