Moldova will have access to financing offered by the European Union for the implementation of projects in the field of health care. The Moldovan Parliament ratified the Agreement with the EU regarding the association of the Republic of Moldova to the EU4Health program, signed in Brussels on February 7, 2023.
Moldova will be able to participate in calls launched to obtain funding in the form of grants, awards and public procurement. The projects target five priority sectors – disease prevention, crisis preparedness, health system and medical personnel, digitization of health systems and cancer prevention. The total budget of the program is 5.3 billion euros.
The EU4Health will run until 2027. The ratification was endorsed by 68 MPs.
