Moldova is the least stable country in Europe

“The Failed States Index 2007” shows that Moldova is the least stable country in Europe. The research was conducted by the American magazine “Foreign Policy” within a study of the most bankrupt countries in 2007. The research publishes the list of 60 countries in the world considered to be most instable. Moldova is ranks the 48th with 85.7 points and tops the list of the most unstable European countries. Out of 60 countries surveyed, only four are European: Moldova, Belarus (51st), Bosnia and Herzegovina (54th) and Georgia (58th). The research highlights 12 political, economic, military and social indicators of instability. Moldova seems to have the highest ranks in the “Human Flight” and “Delegitimisation of State” indicators. The most instable countries of the world are Sudan, Iraq and Somalia.
