Moldova hosts first training course on EU Security Policy

The first training course on the EU’s Common Security and Defense Policy is taking place in Moldova on June 1-5. The event involves representatives of the EU member states and EaP countries, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

The training course is aimed at strengthening the dialogue between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries in the area of common security and defense policy. The course centers on the decision-making process within the EU crisis management missions, the detailed analysis of planning, the launch and conduct of civil and military missions.

The event is staged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense and Sport of Austria, the European Security and Defense College and the European External Action Service.
