The national futsal team of Moldova began the qualifying rounds of the Euro 2016 Championship with a victory. The ‘tricolors’ defeated Albania 4-2 in a match played at the Futsal Arena FMF situated in Ciorescu commune of Chisinau municipality, IPN reports.
The footballers trained by Vladimir Vusatyi scored by two goals in each half. Cristian Obada scored two goals, while the other scorers were Sergiu Tacot and Andrian Lascu. The Albanians replied through Endrit Kaca (both of the goals). “I’m satisfied with the performance of my team. I’m also glad that the match was attended by many spectators,” Moldova coach Vladimir Vusatyi told a news conference.
In another game of Group D, France beat San Marino 5-1. Only the winner of the group will qualify for the next round, where it will meet the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Norway.
