Moldova drops four places in FIFA Ranking

The national football team of Moldova ranked 106th with 292 points in the FIFA Coca-Cola World Ranking for July, compared to the 102nd place and 320 points last month.
The first two places ahead of Moldova are held by St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Equatorial Guinea, being followed by Azerbaijan and Gabon.
In the continental ranking, Moldova occupies the same spot – 41st, behind Georgia and followed by Azerbaijan.
The best scorers in the FIFA Ranking are two Latin American countries – Brazil and Argentina, with 1508 and 1491 points, respectively. They are followed by Italy, France, and Germany. Romania ranked the 13th. Among the former Soviet countries, the best scorer is Ukraine – the 15th position – moving up 2 spots compared to last month.
The Moldovan national football team registered its best move in rankings in August 2006 – 73rd, and the worst in May 1994 – 149th.
