The Cabinet on October 17 approved the concept of the national terror alert system that is a common advisory platform that will ensure the coordination of measures at national level, IPN reports.
The platform will include recommendations for the citizens in case of terror alerts and competent authorities’ takes and envisions the grading of the antiterrorist security situation depending on the internal and regional dangers.
The national terror alert system has four levels: low (blue), moderate (yellow), high (orange) and critical (red). Depending on the set alert level, the competent authorities will take specific measures to ensure national security.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet approved the regulations concerning the organization and holding of antiterrorist tests to improve the system for ensuring antiterrorist protection.
