The national football team of Moldova scored the first victory in the UEFA Nations League. Moldova defeated San Marino 2-0, IPN reports.
Both of the goals were scored by Radu Gînsari in the 31st and 67th minutes. Moldova manager Alexandru Spiridon used the following players: Koshelev, Reabchuk (Dedov 46th min., Carp, Posmac, Epureanu, Ioniță, Gațcan, Antoniuc, Gînsari (C.Sandu 79th), Cociuc, Damașcan (Boichuk 54th). ”We had many occasions for scoring and I’m glad that we won a victory,” Alexandru Spiridon said in a news conference.
In the other match of the group, Belarus won against Luxemburg 1-0. On October 15, Belarus plays Moldova at home.
