Nadejda Hriptievschi was named as Moldova’s expert to the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) as a result of a national contest, IPN reports.
Nadejda Hriptievschi is a lawyer, researcher and co-founder of Legal Resource Center of Moldova. She has rich experience in combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and intolerance.
After the national contest, the candidate was examined in a meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. The new expert at the ECRI will take up her duties on September 16. The tenure is five years.
