Moldova-Agroindbank has a new head

The general assembly of shareholders of Moldova-Agroindbank SA accepted the resignation of Natalia Vrabie from the post of president of the banks’ Managing Committee and voted Serghei Cebotari in this post by a unanimous vote on June 28, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from BC Moldova Agroindbank, the general assembly involved 86% of the shareholders with the right to vote. The new president, Serghei Cebotari, thanked the shareholders for their trust, saying he will use his experience and knowledge to develop the institution.

Serghei Cebotari said that Moldova-Agroindbank will continue and strengthen the relations with the foreign partners, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, and the European Investment Bank.

Serghei Cebotari, 49, has higher economic studies. He has worked at BC Moldova Agroindbank SA since 1995. In 2002, he was named as vice president, while in July 2012 as first vice president.
