The management of the public television channel Moldova 1 does not yet have information about the broadcasting of the channel in the Transnistrian region. Contacted by IPN for a comment, Moldova 1 director Corneliu Durnescu said that this is a surprise for them as well and that they are taking steps to see it is true or not, IPN reports.
On Tuesday evening, the member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Roman Rosca said that in Bender town, the largest telecommunications operator in the region, IDC, started to retransmit the public channel Moldova 1. According to IPN, IDC belongs to the Transnistrian oligarch Victor Gusan.
The TV station is reportedly available on the operator's button No. 30.
