The fourth Festival “Tulburel”, known as the festival of thick new wine, is taking place at the International Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo” in Chisinau. Residents and guests of the capital city and foreign tourists are expected to come to the event. The visitors will be able to taste wines and to eat traditional dishes, pies, patisseries and barbecue meat, IPN reports.
The festival includes an exhibition of things made by craftsmen and plastic artists. The local and foreign visitors can purchase souvenirs and handicrafts.
There will be set up several photo areas for visitors, under such themes as “Big House”, the peasant’s orchard and national folklore.
A performance of folk music will be given on October 8. This will involve the ethnic and folkloric ensemble “Crenguta de Iedera” and Maria Iliut, artists Suzana Popescu, Viorica Cheptanaru, Augustina Dogot, Tatiana Straista-Burlac, Rodica Buhna and others. On October 9, the Orchestra “Tharmis” led by Valentin Uzun, the band “Taraf de Chisinau”, Nicolae and Isidor Glib will give a new concert.
The Festival “Tulburel” takes place on October 7-9 between 12 noon and 9pm. Entrance is free of charge.
