Modification of Antena C’s broadcasting schedule is a violation – ACC chairman

The Audiovisual Coordinating Council (ACC) says that Antena C radio station broadcasts its modified programmes without the consent of the national regulation authority in the field. “The fact that Antena C started broadcasting its new programmes is a violation”, ACC chairman Corneliu Mihalache told Info-Prim Neo. Mihalache also said that on Wednesday, February 7, ACC will convene an extraordinary meeting to examine the respective situation. Director of the station Veaceslav Satnic claimed a busy schedule each time Info-Prim Neo solicited a comment on the situation. Former chief editor of Antena C’s programmes, Lidia Marin, stated that the radio broadcasting was resumed on Tuesday at 8.00 am. The radio station broadcasts only news bulletins, in a new format and with new newsreaders, and for the rest of the time music is aired. The new administration of Antena C announced Monday the staff members that all the programmes had been cancelled and departments liquidated. The two vice directors and the chief accountant were dismissed, while the other journalists were proposed to work as publicity agents.
