Mobilization of law enforcement bodies is an answer given to PCRM

Prime Minister Vlad Filat’s decision to mobilize the law enforcement bodies for March 16, when presidential elections will be held, is a public response given to the Communist Party (PCRM), political analyst Andrei Iovu stated for Info-Prim Neo. “Vlad Filat acted, basing on the rationale that the Communist Party called for disobedience to the ruling alliance. Respectively, the alliance must give an answer, especially now that the President is to be elected,” said the analyst. According to Andrei Iovu, by mobilizing the law enforcement bodies the government shows that it will not allow breaking the law and public disorder. For the ruling alliance, March 16 is an important day when an important political process will take place, while the Communists aim to boycott the election of the President. On March 13, Vlad Filat instructed mobilizing the law enforcement bodies and efficiently coordinating their actions on March 16. The PCRM announced it will stage a large-scale march that day, which will involve about 20,000 people.
