A Mobile Centru for informing the citizens and preventing offenses managed by the police will work in ATU Gagauzia as of June 18. The vehicle was donated by the Federal Government of Germany within a project to strengthen the professional capacities of the national police to the value of €56,000, IPN reports.
The police aim to inform the citizens about the own safety and property safety rules so as to prevent such offenses as pickpocketing, burglaries, thefts from cars, cheatings and others.
Information and awareness raising campaigns will be conducted to warn the people to be precautious, to prevent cases of violence and sexual abuse, to avoid the excessive consumption of alcoholic drinks, etc.
The Mobile Centru for informing the citizens and preventing offenses in Gagauzia is the fourth of the kind instituted as part of the project “Police and the Community”.
