The program “Fruit Garden of Moldova” is designated for companies operating in the field of horticulture (namely: producers of fruits, berries, nuts, grapes) and offers the possibility to access loans for mechanization of manufacturing primary processes, modernization of manufacturing processes and processing systems, hail protection system and irrigation etc. The program will finance all the investment which will contribute to the modernization of horticultural sector in order to adjust it to the international standards, accessing new market and diversify it. Eligible beneficiaries can become not only the companies which activate in horticulture sector but also the industries connected to horticulture sector (packaging, labeling, equipment, accessories, etc).
The companies which will access loans under “Fruit Garden of Moldova” program may benefit from a large range of benefits, namely: competitive conditions for lending, a wide range of activities eligible for financing, fiscal and customs tax exemptions, retro financing opportunities of investments, as well as the consultancy for free on structuring investments provided by the team of Implementation Unit of the program “Fruit Garden of Moldova”. Program “Fruit Garden of Moldova” has been designed by Government of Republic of Moldova and European Investment Bank. In the frame of the program there are available 120 million EUR for financing the value chain reorganization of horticulture sector of Republic of Moldova.
