Misin leaps 68 spots in list of Moldova's most influential politicians

Vadim Misin went up 68 spots in the Top of the most influential politicians for June. According to experts from “Politicon” Institute, which compiles the list, this is the most spectacular advancement of the month, reports Info-Prim Neo. Vadim Misin rank 9th for now. “Misin was a sensation for June. No one expected that precisely he will leave the PCRM. It was a tough hit for them, and it will be hard for them to deal with this leave. We are yet to see if his intentions to create a Party will become reality or not, but I am sure his position will fall greatly in the following months”, stated, at a press conference, head of Strategic Researches and Political Consultancy Center “Politicon” Anatol Taranu. Premier Vlad Filat ranks 1st in the top, followed by Chisinau’s Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, and on the 3rd position is PDM leader Marian Lupu. “Vlad Filat is a political figure who, literally, has no competition. He is ranking 1st with a great point lead on the others. This makes him, undoubtedly, number 1 in Moldovan politics. The explanation for it is traditional: impactful decisional power, charismatic personality, leader of a successful Party, a person who dominates Moldova’s political arena”, stated Anatol Taranu. According to the “Politicon” director, Dorin Chirtoaca’s position is a result of his decision to publicly present his annual activity report. The citizens of the capital appreciate this method of communication. The Party of Democrats Congress, organized with great fuss around it, did not propel Marian Lupu to the second position, mentioned Anatol Taranu, underlining a slight contestation of Lupu’s qualities as leader of the PDM. “Vladimir Plahotniuc is breathing down his neck, and this ruins his image”, mentioned the director of “Politicon”.
