„Mircea Eliade Days” to start in Cahul

“Mircea Eliade Days in the communities of Romanians from everywhere” which will take place in several countries of the world will start in the Republic of Moldova in Cahul, the Romanian Cultural Institute (RCI) announces, cited by Info-Prim Neo. According to the cited source, “Mircea Eliade Days in Cahul” will begin with an essay contest “Mircea Eliade and the Romanian culture within the frameworks of the universal culture” which will take place within September 4 and 25. The essay contest is dedicated to the students of the higher education institutions of the Republic of Moldova. The second part of the project will start on October 20 together with the scientific contest “Mircea Eliade – a genius of history, philosophy and literature”. The essays which will be awarded will be published in the reports book of the conference. With an initial budget of EUR 10 000, RCI recently approved to grant EUR 4000 more for this event. The event is organized and financed by the Cultural Romanian Institute in partnership with the Cahul based Association for Democratic Cooperation and Communication “DIALOG”.
