Minor killed in road accident

An unidentified minor died shortly after he was struck by a car. Dorina Iakimovski, senior specialist at the Traffic Police Department's PR Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the road accident happened on the Chisinau-Cimilia route in Ialoveni district. The boy was crossing the street when he was hit by a Brilliance car. He died shortly after he was taken to the Mother and Child Hospital. Another tragic accident occurred on the Chisinau-Ialoveni route, near the place where Grigore Vieru was involved in the road accident that took his life. A Geely driven by a 66-year-old man made a U-turn and collided head-on with a Mercedes. The driver of the first car was thrown onto the roadway and died as a result of serious injuries. The other driver was rushed to the Emergency Hospital in a serious condition. A Mercedes struck a pedestrian in Costesti village of Ialoveni district. The man was hospitalized with different traumas. The three road accidents that happened in Moldova on February 10 resulted in two deaths and two persons injured.
