A minor was admitted to the Mother and Child Center in Chisinau in a coma after drinking alcohol and taking drugs together with a classmate, IPN reports.
According to the National Emergency Medicine Center, the students went to rest in a villa outside the city and took alcoholic beverages with them. After drinking all the alcohol, the teens took drugs and one of them went into a coma.
Contacted by IPN, vice director of the National Narcological Dispensary Anatol Marandici said the number of teens who abuse alcohol has increased. By 10-12 people older than 17 are annually hospitalized for treatment for alcoholism.
