The Ministry of Education proposed a concept of distance learning for students with difficulties caused by a disability. The online training will be supported by platforms that enable to follow live the lessons, to gather information and follow the training programs and to test the acquired knowledge, IPN reports.
Within distance learning, there will be applied sound recognition programs for students who face difficulties in using the mouse or keyboard as well as screen magnification software. There will also be used keyboards that can facilitate typing for those with motor disabilities. For children with visual impairments, there will be used information reading programs.
The necessary equipment will be bought with budgetary funds and with the funds of education institutions. The parent or legal representative of the child who accepts to include the child in the distance learning system will have to submit an application to the administration of the education institution where this studies and to indicate the reason for the request, attaching the relevant certificates.
The final assessments, including the Baccalaureate exams, are mandatory for all the students included in the distance learning system.
Distance learning is available to students with acquired defects of jaws following the removal of tumors, with morphological and functional defects, cystic fibrosis, chronic renal failure of the second-third levels, etc.
