The Ministry of Education and Research will launch the “Network of Model Schools” program to make investments in 35 institutions all over the country. This means capital repair works, equipment that meets European standards, renovation of sports grounds, laying out of yards, ensuring of energy efficiency and implementation of digital technology, IPN reports.
The subject was discussed in an event held to analyze Moldova's results in the Program for Internatinal Student Assessment PISA 2022.The discussion involved heads of local education divisions and school principals from all over the country and was held to launch a number of changes in student training.
The Ministry will propose a social allowance for parents who have children attending schools with fewer than 50 students and who want to transfer the children to an institution with better conditions of study. These children will eat free of charge at school. A number of 70 new school buses will be purchased for their transportation to school.
